Goosewing Ranch Policies
Minimum Stay, Arrivals And Check-In/Out
The Goosewing Ranch requires a three night minimum stay. Three night packages are available with arrival on Sunday or Thursday. Four night packages are available with arrival on Sunday or Wednesday. Five night packages are unique and not exclusively on the ranch, and will either include a night in downtown Jackson or on an over night pack trip. Five night packages (4 nights on ranch 1 night in town) start on either Sunday or Tuesday. Five night packages with pack trip option start on Saturday or Tuesday. Six and seven night packages have a Sunday arrival only.
Check-In time is 4:00 PM
Check-Out time is 11:00 AM
Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to an additional service charge.
Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Smoking is not permitted while horseback riding or near horse facilities.
There is a $10 corkage fee for guests who would like to bring their own alcohol. Goosewing Ranch has a great selection of beer, liqueur, and wine for sale.
For the safety of all guests and animals, the ranch allows pets only after approval. Pets are not permitted in any ranch building, including cabins, on trail rides, or near the horses.
Single occupancy allows for a maximum of 1 person to stay in a room at one time. Double occupancy allows for 2 people to stay in a room at one time. Children under 6 are free when sharing a room with 2 or more parents or siblings, and are not joining the full riding program. Pioneer (two bedroom) cabins are based on a quad occupancy. Meaning the first four people pay the double occupancy rate. Less than four people at least one single occupancy rate would apply. The Pioneer Cabins have two room, the Indian, Cowboy and Trapper Cabins have one room.
Rates include all meals, lodging, daily maid service, on ranch activities, and all ranch amenities. Rates are per person.
Tax And Gratuity
Online rates do not include tax or gratuity. 22% of the total bill will be added to cover gratuity and taxes.
Personal or travelers checks are preferred.
Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted with no surcharge when used to pay for the deposit. A 3% credit card fee will be added when used to pay for the balance.
Deposit & Final Payment
A 30% deposit is required to make a reservation. A credit card must be on file.
The balance will be collected by the ranch 45 days prior to arrival.
Cancellations & Travel Insurance
Deposits are non-refundable when reservations are cancelled less than 60 days before arrival. If cancellation occurs less than 45 days prior to arrival, final payment is non-refundable. There will be a service charge added to any reservation canceled.
Optional travel insurance is available with a fair rate, and recommended.
Transportation and Off Ranch Activities
Transportation to and from the ranch can be provide by the ranch with an advanced notice. Transportation is $200 / party / round trip + tax. Off ranch activities (such as: white water rafting, float trips, Town shopping, rodeo, guided fishing trips, National Park tours, etc.) are not included in package rates but can be arranged for you by the ranch with advanced notice. Transportation to and from off ranch activities is not included in activity rates.
