The Goosewing Ranch offers a 6 night package. Six night packages run Sunday – Saturday.

Check-Out time is 11:00 AM
We are unable to accept early check-ins or late check-outs. Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to an additional service charge.
Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Smoking is not permitted while horseback riding or near horse facilities. If there is a fire ban additional smoking restrictions may apply.
There is a $30 corkage fee per bottle for guests who would like to bring their own alcohol, this is per bottle of wine, 12 pack of beer, or 750ml liquor. Goosewing Ranch has a great selection of beer, liqueur, and wine for sale. We can also special order in your selection with advanced notice.
For the safety of all guests and animals, the ranch does not allow pets, unless special permission is granted by management. If allowed, pets are not permitted in any ranch building, including cabins, at the lodge or cookout sites, or on trial rides, or near the horses. ESA are not authorized on the ranch and will not be accepted. If permitted there would be a non refundable $250 pet fee required. This fee doesn’t cover damages.
Single occupancy allows for a maximum of one person to stay in a room at one time. Double occupancy allows for two people to stay in a room at one time. Children under 2 are free when sharing a room with two or more parents or siblings, and are not joining the full riding or activity program. Pioneer (two bedroom) cabins are based on a quad occupancy. Meaning the first four people pay the double occupancy rate. Less than four people at least one single occupancy rate would apply. The Pioneer Cabins have two room, the Indian, Cowboy and Trapper Cabins have one room.
Rates include all meals, lodging, daily maid service, on ranch activities, and all ranch amenities. Rates are per person.
Online rates do not include tax or service fees. 22.43% of the total bill will be added to cover service fees and taxes.
What is a Service Charge: A service charge is a fee collected by the ranch and reported as ranch income. The ranch will distribute/utilize these funds in any manner in which it sees fit. Service fees will and can be used to pay employee raises, bonuses, expenses relating to WiFi, fuel for rangers and other service related expenses.
The service charge does not include employee gratuity/tips. If you wish to provide any employee or group of employees with a gratuity, you may provide the gratuity directly or leave it in the Ranch office and it will be distributed to the designated employees. Gratuities left on a credit card are subject to a 3% convenience fee.
Personal or travelers checks are preferred. Visa, MasterCard and American Express Credit Cards are accepted with no surcharge when used to pay for the deposit. A 3% credit card fee will be added when a credit card is used to pay for the balance or any payment after the deposit. Wire transfers also accepted; please add on a $35 wire transfer fee.
A 30% deposit is required to make a reservation. A credit card must be on file. If multiple credit cards are used for deposit a 3% fee will apply.
The balance is due and will be collected by the ranch 45 days prior to arrival. A 3% credit card fee will be added to all balances unless a check is received before 45 days prior to check in date. If balance remains more than 10 days past due additional charges may apply. Credit card fees are non refundable once charged.
Deposits are non-refundable or transferable when reservations are cancelled at or after 60 days before arrival. If cancellation occurs less than 45 days prior to arrival, final payment is due and non-refundable or transferable. If cancellation is requested more than 60 days before arrival date there is a cancellation fee: 3% of the deposit taken plus $150 per cabin booked under the reservation will be kept by the ranch, this is true for any reservation cancelled at any time after the deposit is taken. Optional travel insurance is available through a private provider with a fair rate, and strongly recommended. For large group reservations (3 or more cabins or over $15,000) deposits are non-refundable at 90 days before arrival, unless all accommodations can be re-booked. Cancellation fees will still apply and general policies still apply.
Transportation to and from the ranch can be provide by the ranch with an advanced notice. Transportation is $400 – $500 / cabin / vehicle / round trip + tax, rates vary depending on location and duration. Off ranch activities (such as: white water rafting, float trips, Town shopping, rodeo, guided fishing trips, National Park tours, etc.) are not included in package rates, we can help with recommendations for off ranch excursions. Transportation to and from off ranch activities is not included in activity rates. Town and activity shuttles are not guaranteed and offered by request only. We do suggest you have your own transportation if you wish to do off ranch excursions. Arrival/Departure shuttles from the airport or town of Jackson are $400 + tax for the round trip, this is per cabin, as long as all cabin occupants are on the same shuttle. Shuttles are not private and we reserve the right to subcontract shuttles as needed.

There are no activities on your check-in or check-out days.
There is No horseback riding or activities on Sundays/Saturdays.
Children’s program runs from June 18 – August 19, 2023
The weight limit for horseback riding for novice riders is 250lbs. For advanced riders 270lbs. Some trails or faster rides may be restricted if at or over weight limit.
Riding age is a minimum of 6 years old for the trail and 3 years old for pony rides around the ranch. For trail rides children need to be able to follow instruction and control their horse. “Pony” rides are not offered daily, and are not necessarily on ponies. Wranglers have final say regarding riding ability and may not authorize all riders to participate.
Skeet (clay) shooting: shooters must be a minimum of 16 years of age, all shooters must wear protective eyeglasses and earplugs.
Recommended minimum driving age of the UTV is 16 years old with a valid driver’s license.
First time fly fisher-kids must be at least 12 years of age, spinner rods available for those under 12.
The billiards table in the lodge loft is for people 18 years of age or older. There is a kid’s cabin with games and activities for those younger than 18 to enjoy.
Additional restrictions or recommendations may apply to both on ranch and off ranch activities.
Children are the full responsibility of parents whether participating in activities, childrens program or other adventures around the ranch. We don’t offer babysitting. There are not any life guards,
We reserve the right to revoke use of Polaris Ranger UTV to those abusing machines, not following speed limit restrictions, driving in a manner that can damage machine or cause harm to others.
We reserve the right to refuse participation in any activity or event due to participant intoxication or not following guided instructions, or to those to pose a threat to themselves or others.
Damage to ranch property, UTVs, cabins, etc: Repair costs will be billed to party causing damage. Minimum damage fee of $2000 will be charged.
Low and Shoulder season packages don’t include any extra activities or special activities horse swimming, breakfast rides, extra shooting, pack trips, glamping packages, wagon rides, kids programs, and possibly others. This is a great time for friends, groups, couples and adults to enjoy the wilderness, exploring on the UTVs, hiking, horseback riding, wildlife viewing, and relaxing by the fire in our lodge. Some peak season activities maybe available depending on guests dynamics, weather, sunrise/sunset times, river conditions, and other factors.
We don’t offer any spa services, massages, or a swimming pool for 2023.
Pack trips will go out in sunshine, snow or rain depending on trail conditions. There is no refund on pack trips cancelled within 60 days of trip departure. If inclement weather persists then you will stay at the base camp cabin instead of the wilderness camp, and do riding out of there for the day. If you decide this is not what you wanted all alternative accommodations are extra and not guaranteed or included in this package. There is a minimum of four participants, and a max of eight per trip.
We highly recommend pack trip participants be in good physical health and able to withstand full days of riding and activity. Suggested age range is between 10 and 65 years of age. Children must be able to control their own horses and follow instructions. Pack trip packages run from July 4 until August 26 for the 2022 summer season. These are progressive trips departing from a base camp in the Gros Ventre Valley and ending at the Goosewing Ranch in the. Pack trip packages are subject to change.
Wagons each come with their own private detached bathroom cabin with full modern amenities. Wagon packages are inclusive of the Polaris Ranger UTV. Wagon packages are inclusive of all other ranch meals, amenities, horseback riding and activities programs, all ranch policies will apply.
COVID 19 Policies and Recommendations
These policies will be updated by May 15, 2022 to reflect current regulations, situations and new policies.
Goosewing Ranch is taking the health and safety of our guests, staff and partners very seriously.
We are a permittee of the Bridger Teton National Forest and will be following all mandatory Federal, State, and County regulations.
Our over all atmosphere and activities allow for easy social distancing in open air, outdoor settings.
It is required that all guests, staff, partners, and visitors bring their own face coverings and wear them in an approved manner when and where required.
We reserve the right to refuse service or care to those not wearing proper face coverings, practicing social distancing or testing positive for COVID 19 or its strains.
We want everyone to have a relaxed vacation and will do our part to ensure that we are safe all while limiting places and events where masks are required.
Vehicle shuttles may be limited, and or have strict restrictions in place. Such as, no passengers in front seat or front row, only offering arrival and departure shuttles, face coverings required for duration of trip, temp checking before entering vehicle, right of refusal, limited to one family/group per shuttle.
