We also want to ensure that you are free to explore the astonishing area around our Jackson Hole resort guest ranch.  You have the opportunity to explore it for yourself in many capacities. We have Polaris Ranger UTVs which are available for you to take out at your leisure (inclusive of cabins, not inclusive of wagon packages). The first tank of gas is on us, you pay for additional fuel needed.  UTV Rangers have either 2, 4, or 6 seats based on your cabin assignment.

With the Polaris UTV Rangers you are free to explore the valley, set up shuttles for tubing the river, accessing hiking trails, spend the day going from one fishing hole to another, or to take a canoe to nearby Soda Lake.  These side x side off road vehicles are great for all visitors, and allow freedom to access many remote areas without having to spend hours in the saddle.

We also have Mountain Bikes available for use all over the valley. There are many trails great for mountain biking.  We have bikes and helmets available free for your use.  You are also welcome to bring your own bike to the ranch.  Trail maps with intensity levels available in your cabin.

Hiking is another great option for the adventurous.  There are many great trail options both into the Gros Ventre Wilderness and the Bridger-Teton National Forest.  Trail maps with intensity levels are available in your welcome package.

We can provide you with maps, and bear spray to take with you when exploring the Gros Ventre Valley.

Wildlife searching is a family fun activity.  Stop by the office for the latest updates on where the wildlife has been seen.  Sightings vary with the weather and seasons.  You can spot bears, wolves, eagles, cranes, coyotes, fox, elk, moose, deer, pronghorn, and more!

If exploring sounds more like work, or you need to rest your tired muscles, you can always relax by our heated pool, sauna, and hot tub or read a book in a lounge chair by our stocked pond. As the day winds down there are magnificent sunrise and sunset photo opportunities. When the sun finally sets you will get an unbelievable opportunity to stargaze with almost no light pollution.  Stars are best viewed from 11pm – 3am.
