2020 Summer Goosewing Ranch Employment Opportunities:

Goosewing Ranch is accepting applications for ALL positions for the 2020 summer season
We are seeking motivated people who are willing to work hard and to learn our methods and bring character to this beautiful ranch; who operate equally well when working alone or as part of a team; who are honest, friendly, enthusiastic and have a good sense of humor; who enjoy interacting with guests from all around the world, and who get a great sense of satisfaction from providing excellent service to all. We will provide training for positions and for the right person. Applicants must be able to stay a minimum of four months, be able to pass a background check, be drug free, and willing to live at the ranch. Our location is deep in the Gros Ventre Valley and not located in the town limits, there is no public transportation to and from the ranch. There is no cell service on or near the ranch. This is a chance to make lasting memories through a rewarding summer work program.
Goosewing Ranch would be a great fit for outgoing individuals that love working with people of many different backgrounds, love hiking, horseback riding and exploring this beautiful country. This is a great summer adventure job where you will meet and make great friends, and create lasting memories through exciting new experiences. We will help you discover this vast area though both education and adventure based experiences in an authentic Western setting. We are mostly seeking applicants that can complete our full season of employment from May 10 – September 30. We do have limited spots for those with shorter duration dates. We are also seeking applicants that are looking to grow with our business, that are dedicated, and will “ride for the brand”. Our staff members are expected to “ride for the Goosewing Ranch Brand”, do what is needed to get the job down, we work long hours, and all do a bit of everything.

Wranglers applicants will need to send a video of themselves working with horses. This video should be about 5 – 10 minutes long and include a brief introduction of yourself and demonstrate the following skills of you catching and haltering, grooming, western saddling, mounting and dismounting and riding at all gaits. Wranglers must a minimum of 21 years of age, have extensive equine knowledge and experiencing, be able to attend our WFA class in late May, preference will be given to wranglers available to work from May 5 – September 30 or longer.
